Jay McQuirns is some guy from Philly. His family has been rooted in Philadelphia for eight generations, and he is the first cartoonist in a long line of laborers.

His current comic entitled "There's Not A Dolphin In My Closet" is a day by day diary about coming to terms with depression, exposing vulnerabilities, and humility.

Other than working in comics he is a freelance illustrator, animator and music producer. He has animated music videos for Philly legends "The Hooters," "The Thompsons," "Ron & The Hip Tones," and "Sounds of Liberation." His most recent music can be heard as one half of the hip hop duo "Flight 33."
